Hungry like the wolf
One of the topics that comes up here and perhaps in any discussion around town that revolves around food is Salems lack of a good Mexican restaurant. Sure we have Cilantro but people are always looking for a burrito joint, someplace akin to Anna’s Taqueria in Davis Square.
Yesterday a regular reader Geoff, along with the people over at North Shore Dish via Roost and our friend The Hungry Mouse, all dropped a dime about the soon to be open Howling Wolf Taqueria.
Howling Wolf will be opening across from the fire station at 76 Lafayette Street. This is great news for if you have a hankering for tacos, burritos, quesidillas, nachos or any other Mexican inspired foods. You can check out their full menu here. Of note to anyone in the know about restaurants and liquor licensees here in Salem, it appears they will be offering Sangria, wine and beer. So you will have to get your margarita fix elsewhere.
There is no set opening date as of yet however, when more info becomes available we’ll let you know. We’ll also be in the front of the line for some tacos.
Thanks to everyone who hooked us up with some info for this post. Much appreciated.

So excited.
The folks at Roost have been feeding us bits and pieces of their knowledge about this place…
I checked out the website–looks like a really unique, quality place. Perfect for Salem. I’ll join you in line…
