What a wonderful way to celebrate the season! I hope you'll think of The Salem Mission.

We provide Salem with a nationally recognized street-to-shelter-to-housing program. Our belief is that shelters alone do not solve the problem of homelessness. It is only through supportive services, intense case management, work training and, of course, affordable housing that the chronically homeless will begin to truly thrive.

Here's a link to learn more about our programs: http://salemmission.org/about08.asp

Thanks!

What about the Salem Pantry, they give food to people at the end of each month. I know St. Josephs used to have a food bank too.

I really love this idea!

How about the Northeast Animal Shelter? They are a no-kill shelter here in Salem and I'm sure they are always looking for donations.
