Do you blog?

Written by Glen Hughes on August 26th, 2008 11 Comments

We will be adding a new page to our site listing some of the blogs kept by residents of Salem.  Our main goal is to shed some light on the people who live in town, giving a glimpse into a different aspect of life here in Salem.  Your writing doesn’t have to be perfect (ours isn’t) nor do you have to live an amazingly facinating life (although we hope you do).  You just have to be from here and blog.

Leave a comment and we will add your blog to our list.  Who knows you might get a few more subscribers.

Oh and before you ask, a link-back is not required.  We wouldn’t mind a link, if you enjoy this site - spread the love.

I blog as part of my job. No personal insights here, just goofy stuff about the beverage industry.

I’m a 24 year old opinionated local tour guide with a Livejournal account.

Most of my posts are about political issues, but a few are personal.

I link to local artists and causes and further my punk rock political agenda.

My personal blog is at: http://www.thecave.com

The blog contains technical topics, personal rants, and from time to time a mention or two about Salem since it is the city where I live and work.

    Hi All!

I have a blog called Salem Living which is sort of a sporadic affair, mostly because it’s about what there is to do in Salem with a very active toddler. I am a walking stereotype, 30 (almost 40ish) ish mother who works from home as a freelance designer and I even knit too. I have two local clients who came to me for blog-like sites and I am in the throes of learning Wordpress and how to create sites that clients can run independently of a “Designer” type. (once it’s launched of course). I work from home and would love to network more with other humans who watch more than “Dora the Explora”

    Much love,
    Jenn

I make videos, and sometimes I write about it. I recently moved here from Orlando, FL with my girlfriend Meagan Fisher. Meagan does webdesign and sometimes she write about that too.

We love it here, and we love the Salem Insider too. Although, we do think that The Upper Crust deserves the honor of being known as the place with the best pizza in town (and probably on Earth). I think the Insider might disagree with us on that one.
