WBCN Blood Drive this Friday

Every so often there is a Blood Drive in Salem and we at TheSalemInsider.com encourage you to participate.
Almost everyone has had a friend or family member who has needed blood due to surgery, injury or disease. In fact one in seven people who walk into a hospital each day need blood, that’s 38,000 units per day! To paraphrase my dad, “that blood doesn’t grow on trees”. The only way others can be helped is is we help them. Donating blood is easy and relatively pain free. After anonymously answering few simple questions a friendly vampire draws blood taking only a few moments. You then get a cookie and some juice. How much easier could it be?
Head over to the Salem Water Front Hotel where WBCN in making their annual blood drive push tomorrow Friday July 25th from 11 to 6. Remember blood donated must be used within 42 days and peoples lives are counting on your generosity.
