Salem and the young professional

I just read an interesting article on Forbes.com discussing the “best cities for young professionals“. They listed San Francisco as #1 and Boston as #2. Our little city of Salem isn’t considered in a study like they one they did but it got me to thinking that many of the readers of this blog are young professionals.

Admittedly much of what we discuss here and many of the articles we post about Salem and its on goings are for a core audience that wants more than they can find from their mom’s guidebooks. Many of our readers are young professionals that own homes or condos here and work in or around the Boston area. Some are newly arrived Salemites looking for the inside scoop, so they can be informed when they head out. Still other readers are visitors to Salem, trying to find where the locals actually go so they can avoid some of the pitfalls of being a tourist.
With that being said we would love for you to help us find out a bit more about who you are. Are you a student, young professional, older parent, empty-nester, or phone call away from shady acres?
