One of Salem’s oldest pubs can be found a stone’s throw from the House of Seven Gables and Pickering Wharf. Celebrating 20+ years, this place is always bustling and fills up quickly due to it’s small capacity and great reputation.

In a Pig’s Eye is a friendly neighborhood restaurant that serves up lunch, dinner  and Sunday brunch (as well as $1.50 pint of PBR, we like that!) and offers weekly performances of local musicians and displays the talents of local artists.

The service is friendly, it doesn’t feel touristy at all and the menu offers affordable comfort foods (just thinking about the New England Crab Cakes make our mouths water)  as well as nightly specials. It’s dark, intimate atmosphere is cozy but if it’s busy when you go prepare to keep your elbows in tight so the hurried waitstaff doesn’t bang into you on the way by.
