Salem’s own award-winning microbrewery and restaurant. The Beerworks has a fun sporty atmosphere, plenty of micro-brewed beers to choose from, friendly service, lots of seating, and large screen tvs to watch whatever sporting event happens to be on.

A true microbrewery, many of the Beerworks 30 plus beers are seasonal but all of them are tasty. The Salem Insiders suggest the Black Cat stout available around haloween, or the Blueberry beer with real blueberries. For all you faint of heart you can’t go wrong with the North Shore Light.

Salem Beerworks also offers an extensive, appealing menu with such favorites as home made angus meatloaf, their signature series of burgers and the best turkey tips in town. The fried pickles are a must try and the jalepeno poppers have just the right bite. Whether you bring your entire family for lunch or dinner, or you decide to watch the game and have a beer at the bar, this a great place to come.

I think it’s Black Bat Stout? You should go back and re-review them - rotating beer menu and seasonal food menu, always different. Ambience doesn’t change much, though.
